Brand identity — Business name and logo
I used Horowhenua Air Conditioning to install a heat pump at home after I’d heard good things about their work.
Word of mouth, you can’t beat it for good marketing.
But not everybody is going to hear about all the good tradies from their mates. You also need to let people know who you are, what you do and how to get hold of you.
Jonathan, from Horowhenua Air Conditioning, was unsure how to make a start on that. In fact, his business did not even have a name back then.
Brainstorming a name
So, first things first, we came up with a name. We talked about he did, where he did it and the range of services he offered.
We brainstormed some ideas together. And, in the end, after some pointers about useable names, Jonathan came up with a name that works.
We like it! It’s straightforward, to the point and lets customers know exactly what to expect and where to expect it.
Creating a logo to fit the name
Then we worked with our clever designers to set him up with a nicely designed logo, which he uses on all his advertising.
The logo, like the name, is clear and straight forward. It also boosts the name by visually and instantly showing that the business can heat you up as well as cool you down.
Now, if we can just convince Jonathan to go one more step and move his marketing online … !
